If you reach the decision to host your domain names with our company and you choose any of our Linux shared hosting, you’ll be able to activate spam filters for any mailbox that you create. With a few clicks in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you can switch between 5 separate safety levels. In case you continue to receive spam or the email filters start preventing authentic emails from entering your mailbox, you can switch to a different level just as easily. The quality of our spam protection solution is ensured by one of the most famous email filters – SpamAssassin. If you don’t want to risk skipping a genuine message that may be considered as spam because of its content, you can also set up custom email filters based on the sender, the body or the subject of the email message and re-send the emails to some other email account where you can review them at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated servers, you will not have to worry about spam messages cramming your mailboxes every once in a while, as you can take advantage of the popular SpamAssassin email filter that we provide with each account. Our custom Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with several clicks and you can pick any of the 5 safety levels – from very high to very low. The level can be altered at any time if, for example, legitimate email messages get blocked, or if unsolicited bulk email messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered emails to be redirected to a special email account such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to make sure that you have not omitted a genuine email.
