Varnish in Shared Hosting
Varnish is available as an optional upgrade with each and every Linux shared hosting and if you wish to use it, you can add it to your shared web hosting account via the Upgrades section in your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. There’re two different features that can be upgraded – the number of instances and the memory. The first one refers to the number of the websites that you’d like to use Varnish for and the second one, which comes in increments of 32 megabytes, shows the maximum amount of content that the platform can store at any particular moment. Hepsia’s easy-to-work-with graphical interface will permit you to shut down or to restart any instance, to see exhaustive logs or to erase the platform’s cache with just one mouse click. For best results, you can employ a dedicated IP address for the websites that will use the platform. With Varnish, your Internet site will load significantly faster, meaning more pleased visitors and potential customers.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
All our Linux semi-dedicated servers include Varnish by default, so you can take advantage of the accelerator and optimize the speed of any site that you host on our semi-dedicated servers. You will get 64 megabytes of system memory exclusively for Varnish at no extra cost and you’ll be able to enable an instance with no more than a couple of clicks from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which is included with the semi-dedicated packages. If you need more memory, the latter is available in increments of 32 megabytes in the Control Panel’s Upgrades section and it will be at your disposal straight away. You can also order more instances as a separate upgrade, so you can decide whether plenty of data will be cached for one site or whether the available memory will be used by several websites. Hepsia will enable you to restart or to remove any instance, to view the system log associated with it or to delete the cached content using 1-click controls. To get the most out of Varnish, you can assign a dedicated IP to the websites that will employ it.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can use Varnish with all our VPS server plans at no additional cost, as the content caching platform is pre-installed and is offered by default. The one and only precondition is that the server must be ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll be able to set up Varnish for any of your websites with only a few clicks of the mouse. Each VPS package offers a different amount of system memory for content caching purposes, but you’ll get no less than several hundred megabytes, which is quite sufficient even for several traffic-hungry Internet sites. Soon after you set up Varnish, it’ll start caching the content that your website visitors request, so you will notice the substantially better Internet site loading times and the less load on the Virtual Private Server very soon. Varnish will allow you to use a less expensive VPS server, as you won’t need that many resources to warrant the correct operation of your Internet sites even if you have traffic-hungry Internet sites with plenty of visitors. Optimum results are achieved if the Internet sites that use the Varnish platform also use a dedicated IP address.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
You can employ Varnish in order to improve the loading speed of any site that’s hosted on a dedicated server with us if the Hepsia hosting Control Panel is pre-installed on it. Not only will you get the caching platform ready to be used at no additional charge, but you’ll also exert full control over it through Hepsia’s easy-to-use GUI. It’ll take only one mouse click to start or cancel an instance or to delete the cache associated with any website that’s using Varnish and in case you’re more proficient, you can also view the platform’s system logs. Varnish comes with at least 3 gigabytes of memory for data caching purposes, so even in case you run a vast number of websites on your dedicated server and they all use the Varnish platform, the difference in their performance will be evident. You’ll simply need to wait for a little while until Varnish caches whatever webpages the website visitors open on their end. The Varnish platform works best when the Internet sites use a dedicated IP, but since our dedicated servers include three cost-free IPs, you’ll have all that you need.
